How it works

Step 1

Paste your lists

One term per line. List A and B are required; List C is optional for three-part combinations.

Step 2

Pick a separator

Space for search phrases, hyphen for slugs and tracking parameters, or none to concatenate.

Step 3

Choose match types

Broad (plain), "phrase" (quoted), [exact] (bracketed) — select any combination at once.

Step 4

Copy or download

Every combination, one per line, ready to paste into your ad platform or research tool.

Why it matters

Keyword lists multiply — building them by hand doesn't scale past a dozen.

Three lists of modest size explode combinatorially: 10 cities × 10 services × 5 modifiers is 500 keywords, and typing them by hand guarantees typos, duplicates, and missed cells in the grid. A combiner generates the complete cross product in one pass, so your campaign covers every city-service pairing instead of the ones you remembered.

Match-type formatting is busywork that ad platforms refuse to do for you.

Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising read match type from formatting at upload time: a plain keyword is broad match, "quotes" mean phrase match, [brackets] mean exact match. Wrapping hundreds of keywords by hand in a spreadsheet is exactly the kind of mechanical step where one missing bracket changes how a keyword spends money. Emitting all selected match types per combination gets the formatting right at generation time.

Combined lists are the raw material for research, not just ads.

The same cross product that seeds an ad group also feeds organic work: drop the list into a volume checker to find which combinations people actually search, use the winners as long-tail article targets, and map the geography-service grid to landing pages. The combinations you don't generate are queries you never find out about.

With Meev

Meev turns winning keywords into published, quality-gated articles.

A combined keyword list tells you what to target — someone still has to write and publish the pages. Meev closes that loop: it plans topics around the queries worth winning, writes the articles, and publishes them to your site on autopilot.

  • Long-tail combinations become drafted, quality-checked articles without a writing backlog
  • Every published page ships with metadata and structured data tuned for extraction
  • AI visibility tracking shows which keywords earn citations on every major AI search surface

Frequently asked

What do broad, phrase, and exact match mean?

They control how closely a search must match your keyword before your ad enters the auction. Broad match (the plain keyword) lets the platform match related searches loosely; "phrase match" (in quotes) requires the meaning of your phrase to be included; [exact match] (in brackets) requires the search to mean the same thing as the keyword. Tighter match types give more control and less reach — many advertisers upload the same keyword in two or three match types and let performance decide.

How many combinations will my lists produce?

Multiply the list lengths, then multiply by the number of match types selected. Two lists of 20 terms produce 400 combinations; add a third list of 10 and you're at 4,000; select two match types and the output doubles again. The count line above the output shows the exact number, and the tool caps output at 5,000 lines to keep the page responsive.

Where can I use the combined list?

Anywhere that accepts one keyword per line: Google Ads Editor and the Google Ads keyword interface, Microsoft Advertising, Google Keyword Planner for volume checks, or any keyword research tool's bulk input. The downloaded keywords.txt pastes cleanly into spreadsheets too — one combination per row.

Does the order of my lists matter?

Yes — combinations are emitted as A + B + C in that order, so 'plumber london' and 'london plumber' are different outputs depending on which list holds which terms. Word order matters less for broad match but changes meaning for phrase and exact match. If both orders are plausible searches, run the tool twice with the lists swapped and merge the outputs.

Why is there a 5,000 combination cap?

Past a few thousand lines, rendering the full list makes the page sluggish without making the output more useful — ad platforms and research tools work better with focused lists anyway. If you hit the cap, an amber warning shows how many combinations were cut. Trim the longest list or split it into batches and run them separately.

Is anything I paste sent to a server?

No. The combining runs entirely in your browser — your keyword lists never leave your machine, which matters when the lists encode unreleased products, client campaigns, or competitive strategy. Refreshing the page clears everything.
