Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Meev (the “Service”), operated by Meev (“Meev,” “we,” “our”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance
By using Meev you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” refers to that entity.
2. The Service
Meev is a software-as-a-service platform that helps you monitor your brand's visibility across AI search engines, identify content and citation opportunities, generate SEO-optimized articles, score article quality, and publish content to your connected websites, stores, and content platforms. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@meev.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing — access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, and unused article or prompt credits do not roll over. Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
We may change pricing for new billing periods with at least 30 days' advance notice by email. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
4.1 Free Trial
New customers may start a 7-day free trial of any paid plan. A valid payment method is required at sign-up, but no charge is processed during the trial period. On day 8, the selected plan's monthly price will be charged automatically unless the trial is cancelled before that time. Cancel from Settings → Billing or by emailing support@meev.ai before the end of day 7 to avoid the charge.
What is limited during the trial: a maximum of 7 published articles and 10 tracked AI visibility prompts during the 7-day window, regardless of which plan the trial is for. These caps are applied to keep the trial scope predictable and bound usage costs.
What is not limited during the trial: every other feature included in the plan you select is available without restriction during the trial. This includes (but is not limited to) tracking across the supported AI search surfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode) on Pro and Agency, Knowledge Base on Pro and Agency, Citation Path direct + inferred targets on Pro and Agency, brand mention monitoring on Pro and Agency, backlink analytics on Starter and above, indexing acceleration (GSC + IndexNow) on Starter and above, multi-domain dashboards on Pro and Agency, team seats, white-label client reports on Agency, content export, and all other features listed for the selected plan on the pricing page. Trial users may also use the full per-period quotas for email verifications and outreach pitches included with the selected plan.
Articles published during the trial period include a small “Published with Meev” backlink. The backlink is removed automatically when the trial converts to a paid subscription.
If the trial is not converted to a paid plan by day 8, all active services pause: no new articles publish, no new AI visibility tracking fires, no new outreach pitches generate. Your account remains open and all data from the trial period remains readable. Services resume immediately upon selecting a paid plan.
4.2 Refunds
New self-serve customers may request a full refund within 7 days of the first paid charge by emailing support@meev.ai. Refunds after the 7-day window are not provided, except to the extent required by applicable consumer-protection law (for example, statutory cooling-off rights for EU and UK consumers). Refunds may be withheld in cases of suspected fraud or terms abuse.
5. Your Content
You own all content you provide to the Service (including domains, brand terms, prompts, knowledge-base entries) and all articles, images, and outputs generated through your account (“Customer Content”). You grant Meev a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and deliver Customer Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you (including publishing content to platforms you connect).
6. We Do Not Train AI on Your Data
We do not use Customer Content to train, fine-tune, or develop any general-purpose, foundation, or large-language model — our own or anyone else's. The AI providers we use are contractually prohibited from training on data sent through Meev. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics to monitor and improve the Service.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Meev to:
- generate or publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes third-party rights
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent technical limits of the Service
- resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service except where explicitly permitted by your plan (Agency tier)
- use the Service to send spam, abuse outreach features, or violate anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL)
- upload malware, conduct security testing without authorization, or interfere with the Service's availability
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated by Meev is produced using AI technology and quality-control checks. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or material that is unsuitable for your context. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving content before publishing. This responsibility is especially important for regulated industries (medical, legal, financial, political) where human review is required by law or professional standards. Meev makes no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any generated content.
9. Third-Party Platforms & Integrations
The Service connects with third-party platforms you choose to link, including content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow), e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), search consoles (e.g., Google Search Console), and the AI search engines you choose to track. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Meev is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party platforms, and we are not liable for losses caused by changes, outages, deprecations, or policy changes on those platforms.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Meev (and its officers, employees, and contractors) harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) content you publish using the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, (c) your infringement of any third-party right, or (d) your unauthorized use of the Service.
11. Availability & Changes
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes that reduce functionality available on your plan will be communicated by email in advance where reasonably possible.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. Meev's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Meev in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Billing or by emailing support@meev.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with at least 30 days' written notice and an opportunity to cure where reasonable. Immediate suspension is permitted where the breach causes ongoing harm (e.g., fraud, abuse, security incidents, illegal content). Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; your data is retained for 30 days for recovery and is then deleted unless retention is required by law.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware for any disputes that are not subject to arbitration or small-claims court. Each party waives the right to a jury trial.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our Service evolves. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. For material changes that reduce your rights, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
